About Boviet Solar
Boviet Solar's Greenville factory is the company's first North American production facility — a 3.0 GW PV cell and module manufacturing site that opened in early 2025 on Sugg Parkway in south Greenville. The state-supported project will bring 908 jobs to Pitt County by 2028 across manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and operations roles. Because the plant is new, the workforce is still ramping; relocating professionals are arriving from across the U.S. and internationally as production lines come online. The Sugg Parkway location sits south of central Greenville with quick access to NC-11, putting the closest Winterville subdivisions within a 5-10 minute drive.

South Greenville location advantage
The Sugg Parkway address is closer to Winterville than the MLK Highway industrial corridor (Thermo Fisher, Hyster-Yale). Most Winterville newer-construction subdivisions are within 10-15 minutes — a meaningful advantage if you want a brand-new home and a short commute.
Production shift schedules
PV manufacturing runs multiple shifts to keep cell and module lines productive. If you'll be on a 12-hour rotation, plan commute math against shift-change windows on NC-11 (heavy at 6:30am and 6:30pm).
Hiring ramp through 2028
The factory is still ramping toward the 908-job target. Engineering, technician, and supervisor cohorts come in waves. Closing timing matters — most relocators target a closing 7-14 days before their start date.
